Center Healthcare is seeking dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Nurses to join our team in delivering high-quality, nurse-led care in the comfort of our service user’ homes.
As a Complex Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in managing the health needs of our service users, empowering them to live as independently as possible. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Complex Medical Needs: Delivering expert care for individuals with conditions such as tracheostomies, ventilators, PEG tubes, and other complex medical needs.
- Collaborating with a Multidisciplinary Team: Working closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Administering Medication: Safely and accurately administering medication, following prescribed protocols and maintaining detailed records.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Observing and documenting changes in service users’ conditions, communicating any concerns to the clinical team.
- Emotional Support: Building strong relationships with service users and their families, providing emotional support.
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging service users to participate in activities and decision-making, fostering a sense of empowerment and control.
About You:
- Registered Nurse: You hold a valid NMC registration and have experience in providing complex care, preferably in a homecare or community setting.
- Compassionate and Empathetic: You demonstrate genuine care and concern for your service users, building strong therapeutic relationships.
- Clinical Expertise: You possess strong clinical skills and knowledge in managing complex health conditions.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You can effectively communicate with service users, families, and healthcare professionals, both verbally and in writing.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You can think critically and make sound clinical judgments in challenging situations.
- Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working as part of a dedicated team.
